A paradise for the avian world, and the pilgrimage
for the bird lovers, it was known as the best duck shooting resort in the British
empire. But was declared a reserve for birds in 1956 and later upgraded to National

Khajjiar
Often called India's Switzerland, the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has
circumference of about 5 km. Along its fringes, this forests of deodar climb the
slopes, the snow-line rests above these woods and in the center of the glade,
is a small lake fed by streams that traverse the green carpet.

Rajasthan
Rajasthan is where all the country's similes and metaphors appear to have come
